OSHA 10-Hour General Industry

Participants will be required to complete the CareerSafe non-college credit online course containing modules on: Stay Safe, Preventing Falls, Personal Protective Equipment, Bloodborn Pathogens, Electrical Safety, Machine Guarding, Hazardous Communications, Ergonomics, Preventing Workplace Violence and Emergency Action. Then after successful completion, the participant will be enrolled in the online non-credit OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Course. This course contains modules on: Introduction to OSHA, Hand and Power Tools, Walking Working Surfaces, Disaster Preparedness, Electrical Safety, Flammable and Combustible Liquids, Material Handling, Stairways, Scaffolds and Ladders, Welding and Cutting and Safety and Health Programs.

Online Course Elements: The course is self-paced and completed entirely online without an instructor.

Course Schedule: The course is open for registration anytime. The participants will have access to the course for Six Months from the time of registration to complete the course. NO extensions will be granted. After completing the registration form, the participant will receive online login information within 3 business days of registering by email.

Course Completion: To satisfy all of the requirements to receive the 10-hour certification, participants must pass all assessments within 3 attempts with a grade of 70% or higher. If the participant is unable to pass an assessment within the required 3 attempts they will be allowed one free reset but must restart the course from the beginning.

OSHA Credentialed: After successful completion of the Career Safe Online course and OSHA 10-Hour General Industry course, the participant will receive an OSHA 10-Hour Card. One reprint card may be obtained for $7 within 3 years of training completion. One hundred percent of the reprint card fees go directly to OSHA card processing.
