This 10-day training program is designed for individuals seeking entry-level skills for a career as an oil and gas operator. The training topics include the following in addition to 2 site visits:
- Scientific Concepts of Oil & Gas Processing
- Valves
- Pumps
- Heat Exchangers/Coolers
- Furnaces/Hot Oil Heaters
- Reactors
- Boilers/Steam Systems/Heat Tracing
- Safety/LOTO/JSA
- Compressor
- P&IDs/MOC
- Instrumentation & Control
- Gas Processing Plant Operations
- Vapor Recovery Units
- Residual Knockouts/ Flares
- Lact Units / Pigging
- Well Site Operations
- Artificial Lift
Dates: May 13 – May 17 and May 20 -24.
Hours: Class will be Monday – Thursday from 8:00 – 4:00 and Friday from 8:00 – Noon. Lunch will be provided.
Site Visit: Participants will be required to have the following PPE: Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hard Hats, FRC clothing, Ear Plugs and Gloves.
Cost: $1,800/person
