This 10-day training program is designed for individuals seeking entry-level skills for a career as an oil and gas operator. The training topics include the following in addition to 2 site visits: 

  • Scientific Concepts of Oil & Gas Processing
  • Valves
  • Pumps
  • Heat Exchangers/Coolers
  • Furnaces/Hot Oil Heaters
  • Reactors
  • Boilers/Steam Systems/Heat Tracing
  • Safety/LOTO/JSA
  • Compressor
  • P&IDs/MOC
  • Instrumentation & Control
  • Gas Processing Plant Operations
  • Vapor Recovery Units
  • Residual Knockouts/ Flares
  • Lact Units / Pigging
  • Well Site Operations
  • Artificial Lift

Dates:  May 13 – May 17 and May 20 -24. 
Hours: Class will be Monday – Thursday from 8:00 – 4:00 and Friday from 8:00 – Noon.  Lunch will be provided. 
Site Visit:  Participants will be required to have the following PPE: Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hard Hats, FRC clothing, Ear Plugs and Gloves.
