This 7 CEH course is designed to use NECE simulation to explore basic electrical theory. AC and DC power will be discussed to identify the two types of power and how they are used in the transmission of electricity. Electrical concepts such as capacitance, inductance, impedance and real and reactive power will also be discussed in this course. The effects of these electrical properties on power system operations will be explored using simulations to reinforce theory that is discussed in the course.

Each unit in this course covers the specific training items listed below:
• Unit 1 – Atomic Structure
• Unit 2 – DC Power
• Unit 3 – AC Power
• Unit 4 – Inductive and Capacitance
• Unit 5 – Impedance, Resonance and AC Power

Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate of completion by email and the CEHs will be uploaded in the SOCCED.

The course is open for registration at any time. Participants will have access to the course until June 30. All registrations received the month of June will have access until June 30 of the following year. The participant will have access to the material within three (3) working days after registration.

This is an individual registration, however you can register multiple people (groups) by adding this registration to the cart multiple times. Each individual registration will then show with the individual's data in the cart. Once all individuals are added, you can check out and process all the registrations with the same contact and payment information. Since there will only be one person (individual) per registration, please remember to have only 1 in the quantity field of this course for each person.
