INAU 132 - Introduction to Engineering Mechanics for 3D Printing
This course offers an introduction to simplified engineering and mechanical principles as they apply to 3D printing, or additive manufacturing, designs, and products. Requires students to apply concepts related to simple force and stress analysis, material property selection, and deformation to their designs for the purpose of improving functional performance and overall printing success. Students will explore finishing and post processing techniques to enhance the final appearance and marketability of their printed work.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate of completion by email. The course is open for registration until May 1, 2025. Participants will have access and must complete the course by June 30, 2025. Participant will have access to the material on Feb 15 and if registration is completed after Feb 15th, they will have access within 2 business days of registering. Participants MUST login and complete course material within 7 business days of receiving access to the course.
Course Dates: Registration is open enrollment and there are no required deadlines within the course. It is setup as a self-paced course.
