UAS 105 - Introduction to Unmanned Aerial Systems
The course covers the foundation of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Topics will include the history of UAS, classes, UAS systems, regulations governing UAS, industry and societal implications, mission planning basics, types of sensors, and hands-on experience with the components required to operate a small UAS.

The course covers the foundation of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Topics will include the history of UAS, classes, UAS systems, regulations governing UAS, industry and societal implications, mission planning basics, types of sensors, and hands-on experience with the components required to operate a small UAS.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate of completion by email. The course is open for registration until January 31, 2025. Participants will have access and must complete the course by March 2, 2025. Participant will have access to the material the day the course opens, Feb 2 and will be required to meet course deadlines.
