UAS 105 - Introduction to Unmanned Ariel Systems
The course covers the foundation of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Topics will include the history of UAS, classes, UAS systems, regulations governing UAS, industry and societal implications, mission planning basics, types of sensors, and hands-on experience with the components required to operate a small UAS.

The course covers the foundation of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Topics will include the history of UAS, classes, UAS systems, regulations governing UAS, industry and societal implications, mission planning basics, types of sensors, and hands-on experience with the components required to operate a small UAS.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate of completion by email. The course is open for registration until January 3, 2024. Participants will have access to the course until February 18, 2024 and deadlines are built within the course. The participant will have access to the material the day the course opens, January 8, 2024. A hands-on component will be scheduled during the course hosted at Menoken Farms to allow the participants to fly a drone.
